ISKCON of Phoenix held their annual spring picnic on March 18th at Desert Breeze Park in Chandler. There was a big turn-out of devotees for this event. The day was certainly pleasant for outdoor activities with the temperatures being in the low 70’s. All ages enjoyed competitive games like running, lemon and race, passing the parcel and others. In addition, we conducted kirtans and Harinam around the park that benefited whoever heard the holy names. Most importantly, plenty of prasadam was served over the course of two meals that kept everyone old and young energized from start to end.
This was a great opportunity for devotees to come together and enjoy family time while distributing the holy names to the park visitors
