Celebrations during COVID-19

Asia Today Arizona is happy to have the opportunity to finally share some happy news.  Harleen Kaur and Pritpal Singh tied the knot on May 23, 2020 with blessings from Parents Navtej Singh Sodhi and Barinder Kaur, Grandparents Gurdial Singh Sodhi and Jasdhir Kaur and aunt and uncle Suminder Singh Sodhi and Mandep Kaur.  While it was not easy to do this during the pandemic, but they carried on with the rituals and festivities, hiding their emotions and keeping their composure throughout the wedding ceremony when they could not see friends and family celebrate with them. The decision was extremely difficult and emotional for all involved but special moments are not worth putting their loved ones at risk was the sentiment from the whole family.   “It is better to be safe than sorry.  We are happy everything went ok and the wedding was performed with precuations by Guru Nanak Dwara.” Congratulations to the lovely bride and handsome groom and best wishes to the entire family from the team of Asia Today Arizona.
