Little Champs

Organized jointly by Indo-American Cultural and Religious Foundation (IACRF) and Radio Khushi, Little Champs was a way to give children an opportunity to demonstrate their singing talent in the valley.  The competition was split into two age groups, below 10 and 10-18, and the youngest competitor was 4 years old, a competitor that could sing but could not read yet.

In the morning, an elimination round was held in which a total of 56 children participated. This narrowed the competition down to 12 winners in each age group and then those 12 each participated in the competition which was live on the radio, the internet, and the hall.  People vote via SMS, call-ins, and there were also five judges that judged the competition.  The first prize was an Applie iPAD and the second prize was an Android Tablet PC.  The event highlighted a surprising amount of talent in the valley.  Congratulations to the winners and the organizing teams of IACRF and Radio Khushi on a successful event.
